Full-spectrum CBD

Full-spectrum CBD refers to a type of CBD extract that contains a wide range of cannabinoids, terpenes, and other beneficial compounds found in the cannabis plant. Unlike CBD isolate, which contains only pure CBD, full-spectrum CBD retains all the naturally occurring compounds present in the plant, including trace amounts of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), but typically in concentrations below the legal limit of 0.3% THC.

The idea behind full-spectrum CBD is that the various cannabinoids and terpenes work together synergistically in what's commonly referred to as the "entourage effect," enhancing the therapeutic benefits of each individual compound. This means that full-spectrum CBD may offer more comprehensive health benefits compared to CBD isolate due to the presence of multiple active compounds working together. However, it's important to note that full-spectrum CBD products may produce psychoactive effects due to the presence of THC, albeit at low levels.
